We are Dore

A one-of-a-kind creation

Inspired by our discovery, we started by introducing local skincare to the Netherlands and Belgium.
But we quickly realized we wanted to add our own ideas and insights to create something unique.
That’s how Dore Rooibos Cosmetics was born, with rooibos as our key ingredient.

Our products are 100% vegan, with no animal ingredients or testing involved. And like everyone, we take responsibility for reducing our ecological footprint.
We’re always taking small steps to make a difference, like:

No more plastic packaging, we use recyclable tubes and bottles made from sugar cane, and work on sustainable caps.
We develop new formulas with reused ingredients and do not use harmful substances such as microplastics.
By choosing uniform packaging types, we reduce waste, energy consumption and costs.

Our timeline

2000

Our first introduction to South Africa.
The start of our love for the beautiful country and its impressive nature.
It is also where we discovered how special the rooibos plant is.

2016

Importing existing rooibos skin care products from South Africa.
Eventually it turned out that we ourselves were full of insights and ideas that we wanted to put into our own products.
This was the beginning of a new adventure!

2018

After much research and collaborations (and perseverance!), the first products are developed: from the formulas, to the names and packaging.

2020

Launch of the first three Dore Rooibos Cosmetics products.
This is just the beginning, as more products will be launched!

2024

Dore Rooibos Cosmetics is launching a completely new product line consisting of our 7 Essentials and some great pachage deals!

Because of our love for nature and animals, it goes without saying that our products are 100% vegan.
This means that our formulas are free of animal raw materials.
In addition, our products are 100% animal testing free.
Fortunately, cosmetics testing on animals has not been legally allowed within the European Union since 2009.
Yet we see that there is still much to be gained in terms of the treatment of animals.
This is therefore something we want to “give back” first, as soon as we can with the earnings of our company.
